Alexander Bublik: "Defeats say much more about my tennis than victories"

The guests of the event were tennis fans and VIP clients of the FONBET betting company, the official betting partner of the First&Red project.

During the event, Alexander Bublik and his coach Artyom Suprunov conducted a master class for the guests. Then the tennis player answered the questions of the meeting participants: he spoke about his emotions after losing to Alexander Zverev at the Shanghai Masters, shared his thoughts on what he would change in his career, and spoke about his attitude to MMA.

I became interested in fighting about two years ago, and became friends with Islam Makhachev. Then I met Shavkat Rakhmonov, and we met here in Almaty. We didn't manage to talk much, we just got to know each other so far, I hope we'll be able to talk soon. Karen Khachanov told me a lot about the fights, he is friends with Arman Tsarukyan. I started watching it myself, there was a tournament in Tashkent, I was watching Iskandar Ziyaev there.

Alexander also reassured the fans by commenting on recent words at the net after losing to Sasha Zverev.

Emotions, what can you do here? It's a tough match against the first racket of the world, my friend. It was a crucial match for us. And there were some emotions after the match, I said that I would finish the season right now. But it's okay, do you know how many times I've said that?

Alexander Bublik also shared his wisdom with young fans, who were especially interested in what is more important in a tennis player's career — wins or losses?

Defeats say much more about my tennis than wins. If I hadn't had those defeats, I wouldn't have become who I am. That's why defeats are more important to me, they helped me gain experience and learn something new.

This event ended up with an autograph session with fans.
