International Padel returns to Moscow. What to watch, where it takes place and how to get to the tournament

BackFirst&Red

The most important tournament of the year.

The Moscow 2026 International Padel Tournament will be held in Luzhniki Stadium from October 20 to 25. The competition will be held for the third time, but this year for the first time they will receive a new main arena — the central court will be located in the Irina Viner Palace.

Over the course of six days, Russian and foreign players will compete for titles and a total prize pool of 100,000 euros. And on October 21, in parallel with the tournament, the Russian Padel Summit will be held for the first time — a separate platform for players, clubs, investors and industry representatives. Let's figure out what you need to know before the tournament.

What?

Moscow 2026 is an international padel tournament among men's and women's pairs. 16 duets will be played in each main draw. 12 will receive direct admission, two more pairs will qualify, two will receive a wild card. One of the special invitations will go to the winners of the Russian Cup 2026: Artem Matus and Eric Tomaidis for men, Vilena Petrova and Vlada Kutuzova for women.

The total prize pool is €100,000: €65,000 will be awarded in the men's draw and €35,000 in the women's draw. The full list of participants is still being formed. The organizers promise to introduce the players and pairs separately closer to the start.

Where?

For the first time, Irina Viner's Palace in Luzhniki Stadium will be the main arena of the tournament. That's where the central court will be located. Some of the matches will also be held at the Luzhniki Tennis Palace.

This change is especially significant compared to previous draws: the organizers are actually moving the central matches to one of the most recognizable sports grounds in the complex.

When?

The tournament will be held from October 20 to October 25. The main game days are October 24 and 25. It is then that the finalists and winners of the competition will be determined. The day before the start, on October 19, the official draw and the opening press conference will take place.

Who has played here before?

In the first two years, Adrian "Tito" Allemandie, Aimar Gonyi, Gonzalo Rubio, Enzo Jensen, Alba Galan, Julieta Bidaorria and other notable international players came to the Moscow tournament.

For Russian athletes, the tournament has become a rare opportunity to meet strong foreign rivals at home, and for the audience to watch an international padel without traveling abroad. The 2026 squad has not yet been fully announced.

What else will happen besides the matches?

On October 21, the Russian Padel Summit will be held at the Irina Viner Palace for the first time. This is a separate industry forum organized by the Padel Federation of Russia and Court Masters. Club owners and managers, investors, equipment manufacturers, suppliers, coaches, athletes, and tournament organizers will meet at the same venue.

The participants will discuss the development of the Russian padel market, investments, infrastructure and training of players. One of the central events will be the presentation of the Russian padel market research for 2026, with data on the audience, clubs, and key industry trends.

How do I get in?

Tickets for the tournament have already gone on sale. You can also buy tickets for the crucial game days — October 24 and 25. A hospitality program with additional service and an increased level of comfort is also provided for the audience.

The schedule, news about the participants and tickets are published on the official website of the tournament. To participate in the Russian Padel Summit, a separate application is required via the event's website.

What is the result

Previously, padel in Russia remained a sport that most of the audience followed mainly through foreign tournaments, Moscow 2026 offers a fairly simple way to get to know him live.

Six days of matches, men's and women's nets, Russian and foreign players, 100,000 euros in prize money, and the final weekend on October 24-25. The main difference this year is the new central arena.

International Padel is moving to Irina Viner's Palace for the first time. And you can watch it at the Luzhniki Stadium.
